Sicily-born Marilisa Bagnato completed a degree in English and Spanish literatures before setting off to travel the world. She headed first to Austria and then worked aboard a number of cruise ships.

Her deep affection for Sicily soon brought her back: she joined Grand Hotel Timeo and then moved to Villa Sant’Andrea where she is now responsible for weddings and special events.

She enjoys her job immensely and loves to help couples plan the best day of their life. She believes that organising a wedding is all part of the fun of getting married and says that it should feel like a party from the very beginning right up until the occasion itself.

The beauty of Villa Sant’Andrea makes for a magical celebration- the sea breeze, the verdant terraces, the island atmosphere…this is romance with a capital ‘R’.
